Cholecystitis

RUQ pain

POSITIVE MURPHY’S SIGN

BOAS SIGN – pain radiating to right scapula

Dx: Ultrasound study of choice

Cholangitis

Charcots Triad:

  1. Fever
  2. Jaundice
  3. RUQ pain

BEWARE OF REYNADS PENTAD

Charcot Triad +

4. Confusion / AMS

5. Hypotension

Treatment: Admit + ABX + ERCP
