Complications: macrosomia (big baby), increased chance for placenta disorders, increased risk for maternal diabetes after pregnancy
Molar Pregnancy
Neoplasm arising due to abnormal placental
Vaginal bleeding, UTERINE SIZE LARGER THAN EXPECTED
Dx: b-hCG significantly elevated, ** SNOWSTORM apperance on US **
Tx: Surgery with serial b-hCG
Premature Rupture of Membranes (PROM)
Nitrazine paper test = POSITIVE IF PAPER TURNS BLUE (indicative of >6.5 pH)
Await for labor and MONITOR FOR INFECTION!!!
