Tx: Rest pancreas with fluids, pain management, NPO

Chronic Pancreatitis
Abdominal Xray shows **CHAIN OF LAKE** calcifications
Tx: Enzyme replacement, pain management
Pancreatic Carcinoma
****PAINLESS JAUNDICE****
Painless jaundice due to backed up of conjugated bilirubin from a mass on the HEAD of the pancreas causing biliary tree obstruction
Pruritis due to increase in bile salts
*Cancer marker = CA 19-9*
