Dx and Tx: Barium Enema

Obstruction

Top 3 causes:

  1. Surgical Adhesions
  2. Hernias
  3. Malignancy
 
 

MCC of large bowel obstruction = Malignancy

Symptoms: Abdominal distention and cramping, vomiting, obstipation
